Ginny was found every summer rocking on the porch of her beloved Ocean City home, “The Virginia Lee”. Family and friends looked forward to seeing her smiling face and hearing her infectious laugh as they walked up and down the boardwalk. People from every walk of life could be found enjoying the ocean breezes from the Virginia Lee’s porch. Ginny earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971 from Stratford College in Danville, Virginia. Ginny loved children and she considered it a privilege whenever she was able to touch their lives. For her birthday each year, she requested gifts be made to the students in lieu of a gift for herself. Ginny was a member of the Junior League of Annapolis for many years and also served on the board of the SPCA.
