Jason Lloyd Bridges, 35 of Baltimore, died suddenly while on vacation in New Orleans, LA. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of Ronald Lloyd Bridges and Lois Jean Bridges of Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his younger sister, Jamie Ann Hillman and her husband, Christopher of Salisbury, his true love and best friend Erin Meyer of Baltimore, his Aunt Carol Snyder of Salisbury and his pet son, “Duke”. Jason has joined his grandparents in heaven, his “Nanny” Ann Snyder, “Poppop” Robert Snyder, “grandma” Helen Bridges and “grandpop” Laurence Bridges. Jason was a successful realtor for Century 21 and loved every minute of his work. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and making us all laugh. Jason was a true friend to many, he had a heart of gold and always put himself last when it came to helping others. He loved coming down to Salisbury to see his family whenever he could; he referred to us as “the wolf pack”. He loved his parents dearly and was always worried about them. Jason called his mother, father and sister everyday just to talk. We loved hearing each others voices and as a family we cherished everyday we had with each other. He made his parents so very proud of him and no matter what he did they loved him with everything they had. Jason loves his brother-in-law Chris, he said Chris was his “hero”; they had many personal talks till the sun came up and Jason made Chris the brother he never had. When Jason brought his dog Duke home for the first time he called Duke his son and taught him how to walk up the steps; he loved Duke so much and was so proud he took Duke everywhere with him. Jamie and Jason had a brother and sister bond like no other. Words cannot explain the closeness they had and felt for each other. They looked to each other for guidance, protection and laughter, literally everyday. They knew exactly what the other was thinking before it was even said; they loved God together, reminding each other to focus on God each and every day. Jason may not be here physically, but his soul will forever be with our God in heaven where he can be himself and rest for eternity. He will live within the people that truly loved him and his spirit will always be near. Jason is my best friend and the other half of my heart. I will always cherish the thought that I will see him again one day and get to hold my brother again. Our family will be conducting a private memorial service at the Bridges residents on Saturday May the 9th at 5pm. Please call Jamie or Lois on their cell phone for any additional information. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Jason’s memory to the Jason Bridges memorial fund at Hebron Savings Bank 1008 W Main Street Salisbury, MD. 21801.
