Paul T. Pavlos 89 of Salisbury, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at his home. Born in Richmond, VA, his family later moved to Baltimore. There he owned and operated a 5 & dime store with his brother Charlie for over 20 years, and retired from the State of Maryland. He met the love of his life Dorothy in New Jersey and they were married in 1951. He was an avid sports fan and loved his Baltimore teams. He was a Colts season ticket holder and an Oriole Advocate. He started the Lutherville-Timonium Little League Baseball program. He loved his family immensely and people in general. He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Ocean City. His father Theodore, mother Effie, brother Charles, and sisters Harriet and Fofo preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of 64 years Dorothy; his sons: Charles Pavlos and John Pavlos both of Florida, and Stephan Pavlos of Salisbury, MD; and eight grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Monday, at 1:00 pm at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Ocean City. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the church. Interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. George Greek Orthodox Church.
