Jane Willing Ellis, 74, of Salisbury, died on August 28, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury on February 5, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Eldon S. Willing and Cassie Shores Willing. Before moving to Salisbury in 1986, she was a member of Rock Creek Methodist Church. She was President of the United Methodist Women, Secretary of the Sunday School and caretaker of Rock Creek Cemetery for 15 years. Mrs. Ellis was a member of the Cross Pointe Nazarene Church in Salisbury. Jane should be remembered as a person who had a giving heart. Many will remember her gifts of love. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Eldon S. Willing, Jr. and a sister, Dorothy Webster. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Richard Wayne Ellis of Salisbury; a twin brother, Jack A. Willing, Sr. of Chance and a sister, Elsie W. Parks and her husband Alvin of Salisbury. She is also survived by her God daughter, Christal Shores Marshall and her daughters Emma and Chloe Marshall, God son, Robbie Shores, special friends Wanda and Bobby Shores, sister-in-law, Lynn E. Wilson and her husband Randy all of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service with Entombment will be at 2:00PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Rev. William Kniceley will officiate.
