Daisy Hill Brown, 81 of Pocomoke City, died on June 13, 2014, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Born January 27, 1933 in Stockton, MD she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Delores Hill and the devoted wife of W. Leonard Brown for 62 years. She was an active member of the Eastern Shore Evangelistic Church in Marion Station, MD. In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Gail Covington (Jim) of Pocomoke City; MD; one son, the Rev. Dale Brown of Smyrna, DE; three grandsons, Jamie Covington (Stephanie) of Pocomoke City MD, Joel Covington (Samantha) of Los Angeles, CA and Zachary Brown of Smyrna, DE; two beloved great granddaughters, Rylee Gwen Covington and Lillee Grace Covington, both of Pocomoke City; MD; three sisters, Jeanette Collier of Raleigh, NC, Ida Mariner (Otho) of Snow Hill, MD and Helen Dill (Byron) of Tolchester Beach, DE and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William and Joe Hill. A memorial service, officiated by Pastor, Jerry Hughes, assisted by her spiritual sister, and special friend, Rev. Emily Brothers, will be held on Sunday, 15, 2014 at 2 PM, in the Eastern Shore Evangelistic Church, where family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at a later date.
