Charles F. Bethard, 79, of Powellville, died on Friday, June 7, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born on April 16, 1934, he was the son of the late Fred H. and Mamie A. Bethard.
He was the owner/operator of Bethard’s Garage and a poultry grower. Charles later owned Anne’s Antiques with his wife.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by, his wife; Anne Burns Bethard and a son; Patrick Hunter Bethard.
Charles is survived by his four children; Lynne Mitchell and her husband David of Powellville, Chip Bethard and his wife Kathy of Powellville, Steve Bethard of Pocomoke and Mike Gaylor and his wife Patty of Greenbackville. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Powellville Cemetery.
