Melissa Anne Campbell – Jones, 44, died September 12, 2014, with her family by her side in Salisbury, MD. She was born October 31st, 1969, in New Hyde Park New York. Her father and mother live in Eden, Maryland since 1997. Melissa had a passion for champion Arabian Horses. She spent her life loving her horses, showing, riding and breeding. She graduated from New York University Stern School of Business in 1991. As a professional, Melissa worked as a health care compliance IT consultant, for various large pharmaceuticals companies, and international biomedical research firms. Melissa’s other interests included family, gardening, sewing and reading. She devoted much of her time and energy to her pets, and the care for stray animals. Melissa is survived by her Brother, Colin R. Campbell; Mother, Anna B. Campbell, Father Neil E. Campbell; and Husband, Conrad Jones III and Sister In Law, Candace Jones. Memorial Services are pending to be held at Allen Memorial Baptist Church in Salisbury. Donations may be sent to the Dana Farber Cancer Center for Soft Tissue Synovial Cancer Research in her name. James Graves

James Rodney Graves, Jr., 89 of Salisbury and Dunnellon, FL, died Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Rodney and Helen Thomas Graves. Mr. Graves was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during World War II aboard the USS Wintle De 25. He attended the Baltimore Watch Repair School. Moving to Salisbury in 1950, he worked at Castleburg Jewelry for over 38 years. He continued as a watch maker/clock maker until retirement. Memberships include charter member of Somers Cove Marine Yacht Club, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, VFW, Wicomico Yacht Club and charter member of Horological Association of Maryland and member of AWCI. He is survived by his wife, Dorothea C. Burke Graves, whom he married November 14, 2002; his children: J. Rodney Graves III and wife, Gayle of Williamsburg, VA, Robert Ray Graves and wife, Jane of Salisbury, Marjorie Ann Graves of Salisbury and Susan Graves Phillips of Ashland, VA; step-daughter, Margaret O. Simpson and husband, Tom of Greenbackville, VA; grandchildren: Pamela Graves, Robert Ray Graves, Jr, Zachery Ryan Graves, Jacob Tyler Graves, Jessica Taylor, Eric Olson, Shannon White, Steve White, Daniel, Timothy, Elizabeth and Mark Phillips; step-grandchildren: Katie Clogg and Thomas Simpson; great-granddaughters, Kirra Graves and Irie Stefanik; step-great-grandchildren, Karly Lucas and Bentley Simpson; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Graves who died in 1999 and two sisters, Louise Frye and Charlotte Carpenter. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:00 am at Holloway Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Bud Reick will officiate. William “Bill” Lehman Ashe, 79, of Salisbury, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Augusta, GA, he was the son of the late Harold Ashe and Dorothy Baker Ashe and brother of the late Robert Lee Ashe. A US Army veteran and a graduate of Georgia Tech, Bill worked as a Civil Engineer for CRS Sirrine Engineers of Greenville, SC on projects throughout the United States. After joining Heery International, he relocated to the Eastern Shore as a project engineer to oversee the construction of Eastern Shore Correctional Institute in Princess Anne. He continued working as an engineer with several companies on projects until his retirement in 2007. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Ann Warren Ashe; a son, Robert “Bob” Warren Ashe and granddaughters, Stephanie and Jessica Ashe, all of Marietta, GA; a brother, Thomas Ashe and his wife, Geri, nieces, Michele Ashe and Deborah Harper, nephews, Bryan and Michael Ashe, and a cousin, Dorothy Ruth Ashe, all of the Augusta, GA area. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Christ United Methodist Church on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 11:00 am with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Rev. Donna Lynn Galeone, 52, of Selbyville, DE died on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, MD following a long struggle with melanoma. Born July 28, 1962 in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donald Conaway and Dorothy Mixon Branigan of Morgantown, WV. She was a graduate of Uniontown High School and was employed by the Clarion Hotel in Ocean City, MD. She was a devoted member of Atlantic United Methodist Church in Ocean City. An avid photographer, she was blessed to have been able to go on two safaris, the most recent one in April 2013 with her good friend Sharon Lyon. She was a devoted mother to her daughter Olivia, who was the love of her life. She also loved cats. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Craig Galeone and their daughter Olivia of Selbyville, DE; two brothers, Donald I. Conaway, Jr. and his wife Robin of Bruceton Mills, WV and Daren W. Conaway and his wife Debbie of Blacksville, WV; one sister, Darla Ostrander and her husband John, of Ocean Pines, MD; her mother-in-law Betty Galeone of Pocomoke City, MD; her step mother Barbara Conaway of Farmington, PA; two brother-in-laws, Michael Galeone and his wife Becky and Barry Galeone and his wife Donna all of Pocomoke City, MD and several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City. Dorothy Hudson, 83, of Salisbury, went home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2014. She passed at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Geneva, PA, she was the daughter of the late William Peter Mumford and Ruby Bell Brooks Mumford. She lived in Salisbury for 52 years. She is survived by her 3 children, Larry Pedrick (Sonia), Robert Pedrick and Joyce Lutz; 3 grandchildren, Jason Pedrick, Jesse Pedrick and Amanda Pedrick; and a great grandchild, Scarlet Pedrick. She also leaves her brother, Victor Mumford (Nancy); a sister, Jean Mumford both of Meadville, PA; and many nieces and nephews. All services will be private. Marie Sabettini

Marie J. (Poirier) Sabettini, 83, of 50 Pine Street, Gardner, died peacefully, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 in her residence, following a brief illness. Marie was born in Gardner on May 28, 1931, the daughter of the late Philip and Amelia (Boudreau) Poirier. Marie was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner. She was also a member of the Heywood Hospital Aide Association, where she volunteered in the hospital gift shop. Marie was an avid bridge player and was a member of the Bridge Club. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, watching television and traveling. Marie treasured time spent with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Sabettini, who died in 1994. Marie leaves one son, Peter J. Sabettini and his wife Angela of Littleton; four daughters, Deborah M. Sabettini of Beaverton, Oregon, Nancy Lee Lashua and her husband David of Ashurnham, Gail A. Sabettini of Westminster and Lisa A. Swenson and her husband Swen of Westminster; one brother, Walter Poirier of Athol; one sister, Rachel Blais and her husband Chuck of Gardner; ten grandchildren, Nicholas R. Tomasetti, Angela M. Tomasetti, Nils V. Sabettini, Isaac D. Aronson, Nina M. Sabettini, Alysha M. Aronson, Jacob P. Aronson, Erik R. Swenson, Courtney A. Swenson and Amanda L. Lashua; two great-grandchildren, Liliana M. Sabettini and Logen D. Aronson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Rena Poirier; and grandson, Seve Sabettini. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, September 20th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross Street, Gardner. Joseph Brewton

Joseph H. Brewton 90 of Salisbury, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Cape May, NJ on June 16, 1924, he was a loving father, “Pop Pop”, and the son of the late Harry Hoffman Brewton and Edith Lafferty Brewton. Mr. Brewton received his education in Cape May, NJ and graduated from Cape May High School, Class of 1941. Soon after graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard, during World War II. He served on an attack troop transport, the USS Joseph T. Dickman and participated in the invasions of North Africa, Sicily and Italy. Later he was stationed on Oak Island, NC and Georgetown, SC as a weather observer. After the war he went on the Atlantic weather project aboard the USS Pedria and the CGC Duane out of Boston, Mass. Upon honorable discharge from the Coast Guard he was hired by the then U.S. Weather Bureau and went back to Boston as a senior weather observer on the Atlantic weather project. Later he worked as a weather observer at WBAS Buffalo, NY and the Observation Test & Development Center in Silver Hill, MD; chief weather observer & plotter at WBAS, Honolulu, Hawaii. He returned again to Silver Hill, MD from there to senior weather observer and program manager for the National Weather Service at NASA, Wallops Flight Facility, VA. He retired after 37 years of Federal services in 1979. He was hired onto private weather services until retiring again in 1992. He was a life member of VFW, Meuse Post 194, past Seam Squirrel PT-6 (p-clam) Military Order of the Cootie; “Honor Degree of the VFW” Salisbury, MD; Past Commander VFW Post 8622 in Pocomoke City and member of American Legion Post 93 in Pocomoke City, MD. He is survived by a daughter, Melanie Brewton Smith and her husband, David of Lexington Park, MD; three step-daughters: Sheila K. Collins of Hagerstown, MD, Carol C. Fulton and husband, Walter B. III of Manassas, VA and Linde C. Pusateri of Rockville, MD; step-son, David E. Collins and wife, Tina of Pinehurst, NC; grandchildren: Jennifer Y. Caffey and husband, John of Charlotte, NC, Jeffrey M. Young and wife, Julia of Woodbridge, VA, Jason M. Young and wife, Kari of Frisco, TX and Joey Pusateri of Ellicot City, MD and Tony Pusateri of Raleigh, NC; great-granddaughters: Makaylin McCullar of Heartland, TX and Emerson and Josslyn Caffey of Charlotte, NC and several nieces and nephews. Additionally, “Mr. Joe” is survived by many friends including his “Eastern Shore Angels” and his new family at Atria Assisted Living. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Betty Ann Collins Brewton; a son, Joe Jr. of Oroville, WA; and two sisters, Mildred Hertle and Helen Entriken of Cape May, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Saturday one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Paul Sherwood will officiate. Lester “Bud” Earl Smith, Jr., 84, of Salisbury, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Aurora Senior Living at Manokin in Princess Anne with his family by his side. Lester was born on March 23, 1930 in Centreville, MD, to the late Lester, Sr. and Dorothy Andrews Smith. He was a farmer by trade. In addition to his parents, Lester is preceded in death by his wife; Bertha C. Smith, a son; Earl Smith, two brothers; Russell and Miller and five sisters; Ethel Jane, Audrey, Nora, Hattie and Shirley. He is survived by a son; Tony Smith and his wife Laura of Salisbury, MD, a daughter; Barbara Klimasewski and her husband Dave of Dunellon, FL, a sister; Betty Smith and her husband Frank of Crumpton, MD and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Timothy Matthew O’Connor, 52, of Salisbury died on Friday, September 19, 2014, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born in Washington DC, he was the son of Patrick F. and Althea Speerhas O’Connor of Nanticoke. Tim was an exceptional husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He is most fondly remembered for foster parenting numerous children, volunteering at his local raptor center, taking amazing photographs, counseling and care giving to cancer patients even while sick himself. Every life he touched he taught the value of loving themselves, loving each other and learning to laugh. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving wife Catherine O’Connor; daughters, Nancy O’Connor of Pueblo, CO, Emma O’Connor and Katie O’Connor both of Denver, CO; siblings, Kathi Allen and Terri Odell both of Seattle, WA, Kevin O’Connor and wife Stephanie of Tallahassee, FL, Maureen Plunkert and husband, Krah of Salisbury and Chris O’Connor of Westminster, MD; grandchildren, Lexiann and Nathaniel Trujillo-O’Connor. Edna Mae Henderson Wimbrow, 94, of Greenbackville went to be with the LORD on September 21, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, MD. Born January 7, 1920 near Stockton, MD, she was a daughter of the late Lena Byrd and Maurice Thomas Henderson, Sr. and the wife of the late Howard James Wimbrow. Edna worked hard most of her life, raising her children after the early death of her husband. She was an active member of Union United Methodist Church. She was known for her “sticky cinnamon buns” which were enjoyed, especially at family gatherings and all church picnics. She loved gardening her flowers, traveling, entertaining her family, cooking, reading. sewing. crocheting and watching baseball games. She is survived by three daughters; Joan Reamer (Fred), Lillian Welch and Peggy Wright; three sisters; Florence Sweeter, Barbara Ann Stark and Pearl Merritt; one brother Alan Henderson; six grandchildren, Darrell, Nicol, Dana, Sara, Robert, and Timothy; fifteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her step-mother, Evelyn Powell Henderson; four sisters, Dorothy Huss, Minnie Mason, Jane Jones and Frances Paul and one brother, Maurice Thomas “Tommy” Henderson, Jr. A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Margaret Northam Worth, 67, of Snow Hill, MD and formerly of Pocomoke City, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, September 18, 2014. Born on January 31, 1947, in Salisbury, MD, she was a daughter of the late Charles Buford and Kathleen Mallon Northam. “Peggy” as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was educated in the Worcester County School system, graduating from Pocomoke High School. Peggy loved to bring out the beauty in people, so after graduation she enrolled in the Delmarva Beauty Academy in Salisbury, where she specialized in cosmetology. In her spare time, you could find her doing needlepoint and solving word searches. Peggy had a big heart for people and loved cooking and sharing with family, friends and neighbors, putting a lot of “Love” in her dishes. Whether a home cooked meal or baked goods, it was guaranteed to be delicious. Peggy was employed by Goff’s IGA in Snow Hill for 12 years. Following retirement, due to illness, Peggy devoted all her time and energy into spoiling her adored grand and great grandchildren. She even spoiled her cat, “Maddie”. Everyone that met Peggy fell in love with her warm heart and huge smile and felt at home in her presence. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory, one son, William Charles and Kim Worth of Princess Anne; one daughter Kathy Worth and son-in-law Robert Jackson, Sr. of Snow Hill; eight grandchildren, Brittany Worth (Allen Mitchell), Robert Jackson II (Rachel Taulton), Deronta Creed, Ebony Worth, Daysha Worth, Ashlie Worth, Charlie Worth and Ava Greenhawk; four great grandchildren, Alana Mitchell, Elijah Jackson, Terrell Bivens and Quivel Whaley; two special cousins, who she loved as sisters, Faye Duck and Eleanor Phippin; a close friend Jerry Burke; a host of family from Scotland and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Chuck Northam and a special sister-in-law, Brenda Wise. A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Mary Patricia (Howard) Van Dorn, 90, of Florida and Houston, Texas, and formerly of Gardner, passed away peacefully after a long illness, with her loving family at her bedside on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Born in Gardner, MA on April 21, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Earl R. and Lillian (Daly) Howard. She was a member of St. Martin’s Church of Otter River and St. Thomas More of Houston, Texas. Patricia was raised in Gardner, went to Sacred Heart School and graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1941. She married Eugene LeBlanc, with whom she had three wonderful sons. She later married Paul Harper and raised the boys in Indiana, Montana and Florida. She retired from Miles Laboratories, now Bayer Corporation in 1988. Patricia enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking, painting, reading, golfing, traveling and especially dancing. She loved her family and enjoyed entertaining family and friends at her home. It was in one of her dance classes that she met Frank whom she later married. They spent many years enjoying retirement in Florida . Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Van Dorn, who died February 16, 2000. She leaves one son, Alan Harper and his wife Luz of Houston, TX; one brother, George Howard of Yarmouth Port, MA; three sisters, Ann Beaudet and her husband Nelson of San Francisco, CA; Earlene Dickson of Templeton, MA; and Sheila Couture and her husband Norman of Templeton, MA; many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons Richard LeBlanc and John Harper; two brothers Albert Howard and John ”Red” Howard; and by her first and second husbands, Eugene LeBlanc and Paul Harper. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 27th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Martin’s Church, 248 State Road, Otter River. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Gardner. There are no calling hours. Harry M. Jenkins, Jr., 88, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Coastal Hospice At The Lake. Harry was born on April 4, 1926 in Salisbury to the late Harry M. Jenkins, Sr. and Lorena Jenkins Bozman. He enlisted in the US Navy at the age of 18 and served in the last year of WWII. On March 23, 1951, he married his beloved wife, Nancy E. Jenkins. He retired from Mason Paper Company in 1992. Harry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Salisbury. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Nancy; a son, Harry Wade Jenkins; a brother Edward W. Jenkins; and a sister in law, Brownie K. Jenkins. He is survived by his daughters, Connie L. White and husband, Bill of Salisbury and Susan E. Stacy and husband, David of Rising Sun, MD; grandsons, William Keith White and wife, Elizabeth and Spencer Wade Jenkins; a daughter in law, Cindy Jenkins; and his beloved dog, “Bridgette”. Scott Edward Weaver, Jr. (Scottie) Of Delmar, Maryland, formally of Pittsville, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 21 on Friday, September 19, 2014. He is the beloved Son of Beth and Wayne Ott, and Lisa and Scott Weaver, Sr., Cherished Brother of Kayla Weaver, Jadyne Ott and Alyssa Ott. Loving Grandson of Carol and the late John Mihalik, Robert and Maria Venuto, the late Anita and Robert Weaver, and Joyce Lehew. Beloved nephew of Mary and Daniel Smith, Robert & Kim Venuto, Robert Weaver, Jr., David Weaver, Richard and Rita Darnell, Richard and Ronald Ott, and Harry Downing. Along with many Great Aunts (the late Camella Black), Uncles and Cousins. Scottie was born on December 3, 1992 in Baltimore and moved to Willards when he was six years old. He attended the Old Willards Elementary School, Pittsville Middle School, and Graduated from Parkside Sr. High School (Class of 2010). Throughout his school years Scottie was involved in sports including little League Baseball (Star Pitcher) and he played in various Basketball Leagues. Scottie moved to Ocean Pines with his family, and it was during this time that he met the “Love of His Life,” Ms. Samantha Crescenze. Sam and Scottie have been together for over three years. Living together with their 4-legged family of 3 dogs-Raven, Roxie and Roo, and Dolce their cat. They were working hard and planning for their future. Samantha and her wonderful family will miss Scottie dearly. Scott and Sam were employed at Delmarva Printing, Inc. where a loving relationship was developed with Samantha’s parents, Gary & Tammy Crescenze. Always friendly, willing to lend a hand, and ready for fun. Scottie will be greatly missed by all of his friends and loving family. It’s comforting to know that his grandfather, Nanny & Poppy, and great grandparents will be waiting for him with open arms. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11 am at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 and Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 3 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury and one hour prior to the service. Melvin Robert “Bobby” Fisher, Sr., 67, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his Pocomoke City home with his faithful dog “Buddy” by his side. Born in Greenbackville, VA, he was a son of the late Melvin N. Fisher and Kathryn Taylor Fisher Smith. Bobby’s love for anything on wheels, led him to be an Auto Body Repair Technician, which he did proudly for twenty-five years. He served many with his skill, precision and eye for “nothing but the best.” His love for life, family and socializing with his friends and having a few “cool ones” will never be forgotten. He is survived by his son, Melvin R. “Robbie” Fisher, Jr. and his wife Cheryl; two grandchildren, Drew and Chase Fisher and his one true love, Diana Fisher; one sister, Kitty Jones, all of Pocomoke City; a sister-in-law, LaDel Jones and her husband Kenny of Public Landing; nephews, Jay Lilliston and his wife Patty of Westover, Frank Berrier and his wife Karen of Pocomoke City; nieces, Crystal and Charlene; Kyle Perry of Salisbury, who he raised as his son several other great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father, Ralph Smith; step-mother, Georgia Fisher; two brothers-in-law, Frank Berrier and Wallace Jones and a sister-in-law, Barbara Jean Kenney. Scott A. Johnson, 50, of 26 Minuteman Drive, Templeton, would like everyone to know that he died. Scott passed away Wednesday, September 24th, in his residence following a struggle with cancer. Born in Gardner on May 8, 1964, he was the son of the late Ernie Johnson and Claudette (Robichaud) Johnson of Templeton. Scott attended Narragansett Regional High School, Baldwinville. He was a chef employed by Red Tail Golf Course of Devens for the past two years. Scott was previously employed at his brother Roger’s company, Hardric Labs of Chelmsford. He loved cooking, fishing on his boat, camping and spending time in North Maine woods with friends. He loved animals, especially his dog Bijou and cats Jr. and Bobby. He enjoyed spending time tending to his birds and feeders. Scott will always be remembered for his favorite response to small dilemmas, which was “why?”. Besides his mother, Scott leaves one daughter, Stephanie Johnson and her partner, Eric Wright of Gardner; six brothers, Roger A. Johnson and his wife Doris of Templeton, who was a primary caregiver during Scott’s illness, Ernie V. Johnson, Jr of Winchendon, Jesse S. Johnson and his partner Tina Davis of Westminster, Matthew J. Johnson and his wife Kelly of Gardner, Danny R. Patriquin of Templeton and Russell E. Januszkiewkz of Templeton; two sisters, Sherry Berube and her husband Chuck of Petershan and Jennifer S. Mosher and her partner Doug Gleason of Winchendon; one grandson, Felix Wright; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his best friends, Mike Lafrenier, Brad Walker, Pete Tourigny and Jamie Clark. Scott was predeceased by one brother, Ray Goland and three sisters, Judith Johnson, Kristen Johnson and Cindy Patriquin. According to Scott’s wishes, there are no funeral services planned. Paul Oswald Tillman, 86, of Salisbury, MD, died on Tuesday September 23, 2014 at Coastal Hospice on the Lake. He was born on September 21, 1928 in Vienna, MD, and was the son of the late Harry J. Tillman and Marietta Billie Tillman. He was very grateful that the Lord allowed him to reach and celebrate his 86th Birthday. Paul was a 1945 graduate of Vienna High School where he was an outstanding student and athlete. While playing basketball for Vienna High School he made a half court shot at the end of the first half against Salisbury High School. As a teenager, he served his country during World War II as an Army Ground Observer Corps Aircraft Spotter in Vienna, MD. He also served as a member of Western Kentucky University’s Army ROTC unit where he was awarded a medal for excellence in rifle marksmanship. In 1949 he received his BS Degree in Chemistry from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY. In 1959 he received his Masters Degree in Education from the University of Maryland at College Park. He also did post graduate work at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He was in Public Education for over 25 years, teaching at various schools including Princeton, KY, and then becoming principal at Hooper’s Island High School and Elementary School in Dorchester County until it was consolidated in 1953 as South Dorchester High School. In 1958 he moved to Elkridge, MD and taught at Catonsville Middle School and Arbutus Middle School. In 1959 he moved to Fredericksburg, VA and began working as a sales representative for the Welch Scientific Company. He sold scientific equipment to nearly every school, college, and university in the Maryland- Virginia regional area from 1959 to 1973. In 1973 he returned to teaching as a science instructor at Woodbridge Middle School in Woodbridge, VA. He retired in 1991 and moved back to Salisbury, MD in 1992. He became an active member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Vienna where he served on the vestry as Senior Warden during the building of their Parish Hall, named the Tillman-Wright Parish Hall after his parents and Mrs. Martha Wright who was a long time parishioner of the church. Paul enjoyed listening to traditional jazz music and was often a guest on the Tommie Lee Jazz Program on WESM radio in Princess Anne, MD. He often played some of his own collection of CD’s and recordings on this program. Some of his other interests included fishing, canoeing, and travel. In 1973, he won a large fishing tournament that was held in Marco Island, FL that had a field of over 200 competitors. He was also an avid football, basketball, and hockey fan with baseball being his favorite sport. His favorite team was the Baltimore Orioles and he lived to see them win the American League East for the first time in 17 years. He is survived by his Sons Glenn M. Tillman and Harry L. Tillman (Christine) of Fredericksburg VA; Grandchildren Cija Kenyon, Ashley Tillman, Paul Tillman, Holley Tillman, and Danny Tillman; His former Wife and Mother of his Children, May Jane Walls Tillman; and a Sister Harriet Robinson of Berlin, MD. In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by his 2nd Wife, Lenna Belle Gray Bradley Tillman in 1993 and a Sister, Louise Tillman Epstein in 2006. A funeral service will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Vienna, MD with a memorial committal following at St. Paul’s Protestant Episcopal Church Cemetery in Vienna, MD. Pastor Dennis Morgan will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 203 Church Street, P.O. Box 3, Vienna, MD, 21869. He was a chef employed by La Bussola Italian Restaurant of Holden. Cory was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He enjoyed reading and cooking. Cory was highly interested in History, including Ancient History. He also loved football. Cory leaves his mother, Kelli Jameson and her husband Jake Dacey of Holden; his father, Keith Jameson and his wife Lori of Gardner; two brothers, Austin R. Jameson of Gardner and Justin R. Jameson of Gardner; one step-brother, Johnny Dacey of Mendon; maternal grandmother, Muriel Rocheleau of Gardner; paternal grandparents, Richard and Patricia Jameson of Winchendon; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Myrtle E. (Smith) Hullette, 81, of 37 Birch Street, Gardner, died peacefully, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing of Gardner, following a brief illness. Born in Gardner on May 3, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Maynard) (Smith) Colby. Myrtle graduated from the former Templeton High School of Templeton with the Class of 1952. She was a member of Chestnut Street Methodist Church of Gardner. Myrtle was also a member of the American Legion Post 129 of Gardner Woman’s Auxiliary, where she served as Secretary and Past President. Myrtle enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing. She treasured spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis L. Hullette. Myrtle leaves two sons, Michael F. Hullette and his wife Lee of Templeton and James A. Hullette of Gardner; one daughter, Nancy McMilleon and her significant other Drew M. Duplessis of Baldwinville; two grandchildren, Jeffrey J. Hullette and Kayla E. McMilleon. She was predeceased by her sister, Hazel Smith. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 2nd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a service and burial at 2:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Road, Winchendon.
