Harry Preston Truitt, III, 45, of Salisbury, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his residence. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Karen Marshall Noble of Salisbury and the late Harry Preston Truitt, Jr. Harry worked as a carpenter for Shipe Construction. He enjoyed video gaming and pool league. He is also survived by uncles, Doug Marshall, Ted Whealton, Clifford Marshall, Daniel Whealton, Randy Marshall, H. E. Whealton, Barry Whealton, Garry Whealton; cousins, Shelia Marriner, Richard “Richie” Marshall, Robert Marshall; good friends, Tommie Kush and Wayne Phippin and a special little girl, Sarah Little. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his aunt, Cynthia Marshall and uncles Ross Whealton and David Whealton. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Lighthouse Wesleyan Church in Fruitland. Chaplain Jana Long will officiate.
