Harriett Horseman

Harriett Ethel Bennett Horseman 79 of Salisbury, died Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Deer’s Head Hospital Center. Born in Worcester County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Harold Bennett and Hazel Pauline Hitch. She was preceded in death by two spouses. Mrs. Horseman worked for many years at the Royal Exchange Pub in Salisbury. Following a severe stroke in 1998, she has spent the last 16 years as a resident of Deer’s Head Hospital Center, where she received wonderful care and endeared herself to so many of the staff. She always expressed her appreciation for everything done for her. The loving care she received from the staff in her final days was exceptional. The family is so grateful for such a wonderful facility as Deer’s Head Hospital Center. She is survived by two sons: Robert “Bobby” Lee Culver and his fiancée, Robin Meadows of Salisbury and David Culver of Florida; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Levin Bennett and Johnnie Lee Bennett both of Eden; sister, Pauline Serman of Salisbury and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the volunteers at Deer’s Head Hospital Center, PO Box 2018, Salisbury, MD 21802.
