Shaun-Thomas Mason Perdue, 37, of Pocomoke City, MD, departed this life at home on Sunday, April 12, 2015, following a long fight with complications from diabetes. Born January 23, 1978, he is survived by his parents, Terilyn and Bert Perdue, and son Dylan all of Pocomoke; his grandmother, Eugenia Perdue of Snow Hill; godmother, Sandra Shockley of Pocomoke; aunts and uncles, Mary Bohnak and Kay Mildon of Fruitland, Delores Bohnak of Tampa, FL, Frances Mason of Lewis, DE, Vickie Perdue of Snow Hill, Oliver Phillips and Johnny Perdue of Snow Hill, Rodney Perdue of Bonita Springs, FL and Dean Perdue of Snow Hill; cousins Robyn Pettit (Jeff) and Joshua Griffin of Pocomoke City, JM Mildon and Tanya Mildon Holden of Fruitland and Ray Perdue and Amanda Evans (Justin) of Snow Hill and Matthew and Jody Bohnak of Tampa. He also leaves special “sisters” Brooke and Paige Hughes of Pocomoke and “brother” Bryan Kingston of Berlin. He also leaves his special K9 friends, Skippy, Nicki, and Cody. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lola Twigg, grandfathers, Ed Twigg and Gilbert Perdue, Sr.; great aunts, Doris Mason, Myrtle M. Phillips, Myrtle T. Phillips, Elizabeth Burbage and great uncles Herman and Howard Phillips and Albert “Boots” Mason. Shaun was a 1996 graduate of Pocomoke High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society, the Concert Band, Marching band and Jazz band. He attended the American Legion Boys State and had been employed by Lusby’s Hardware, Advanced Auto and the U.S. Census Bureau. He was also a member of Salem United Methodist Church and attended the Chesapeake Walk to Emmaus Chrysalis. Shaun loved spending time playing with his son Dylan and watching sports and being with his family, as well as watching television, riding in his Mustang, reading and being with his friends.
