Eunice Pansy Payne Watson, 87, of Pocomoke City, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, surrounded by her loved ones. Born March 21, 1928, in Pocomoke City she was one of thirteen children born to the late Brinkman Payne and Leona Mae Pruitt Payne. Mrs. Watson enjoyed bingo with the McDonald’s gang on Wednesdays, gardening and making her famous fudge for family and friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Watson Devereaux of Pocomoke City; two granddaughters, Missy Larmore (Clint) of Parsonsburg and Tina Brown (Candy) of Lewes, DE; three great grandchildren, Alexandra Holland, Avery Larmore and Russell Larmore; one brother, Vaughn Payne (Viola) of Fruitland; two sisters, Nina Silverthorne of Pocomoke City and Rose Marie Wainwright of Berlin and several special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter William “Pete” Watson; her son, Walter William “Bill” Watson III; three brothers, Preston and Leon and Vernon Payne; three sisters, Cornelia Vaughn, Dorothy Dickle and Beatrice Akerley as well as three siblings who died as young children. A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Paul Elligson, will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke City, where family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service.
