Miriam Saunders 81 of Pittsville, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Saunders attended Middletown Baptist Church in Middletown, DE and Salisbury Baptist Temple. She is survived by daughter, Dorothy Saunders; grandson, Lewis Anderson and wife, Tiffany; granddaughter, Erica Daub; great-grandchildren: Lewis Anderson III, Troy Anderson and Jonathan Anderson and a brother-in-law, Howard Saunders. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Saunders who passed away December 2014 and sister, Esther Stetter. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Salisbury Baptist Temple with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Carlo Leto assisted by Brother Jacque Spicer will officiate. Interment will be in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
