Maggie E. Early 97 of Salisbury died Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Lakeside Assisted Living, Salisbury, Maryland. Born in Aulander, NC she was the daughter of the late Charles & Ada Mitchell Jenkins. Mrs. Early was a loving wife, mother and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her life was centered around Bayside Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA, where she was one of the original members. She taught Sunday School to all ages for over 50 years and was always involved in church missions. She worked in retail at various department stores in the Norfolk and Virginia Beach areas. She moved to Salisbury, Maryland in 2005 to be near her son. She is survived by her son and his wife, Larry & Ginny Early; a grandson and his wife, Scott & Kristin Early, their children Emersyn, Kolton, Kaden & Larsyn; a grandson and his wife, Michael & Julia Early, their children Leigha, Paige & Rhenn; a grandson and his wife, Jason & Kay Early, their children Nathan & Nigel; a grandson Justin Early, and extended family including many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Roy Early; a son, Ellis Early; 4 brothers and 3 sisters. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 11 am Bayside Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home and on Monday from 10:30 to 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in Rosewood Memorial Park in Virginia Beach. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bayside Baptist Church, 1920 Pleasure House Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23455.
