Thelma Walston, 94, of Salisbury, died Friday, November 28, 2014 . Born in Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Nathaniel F. and Lena R. Hobbs. Mrs. Walston was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a generous laugh, and enjoyed everything chocolate. She enjoyed family gatherings and was affectionately known as “Moms.” She is survived by her children: John Walston (Christy), Sharon Sellers (David) and Steve Walston (Carol); son-in-law, Andy Raddie; 9 grandchildren: 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Walston, Sr.; daughter, Nancy W. Raddie; 2 brothers and 5 sisters. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 1 pm at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. The family would also like to thank Wicomico Nursing Home staff and personal caregivers for their never ending love and support.
