Eleanor “Kay” Klaverweiden, 68, passed away on July 16, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family and dear friends. Born in Salisbury on January 6, 1946 she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Thomas “TK” Klaverweiden; her three children and their spouses, Tommy and Tracey Klaverweiden, Tracy and Mike Dickerson and Fred and Stephanie Klaverweiden; grandchildren, Trey and Krista Klaverweiden, Tyler Klaverweiden, Montana Dickerson, Wayne Dickerson, Trevor Klaverweiden and Casey Klaverweiden; great granddaughter , Aaliyah Marshall and 5 nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Eleanor Poole and two brothers, Bill Townsend and Jack Townsend. The family would like to thank the staff of Coastal Hospice for the wonderful care and they would also like to say a special thanks to Jeannie Travis and Rebecca Collison for all their loving care and support, it means the world to us all. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014 at 11 am at Holloway Funeral Home a visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Jerry Gray will officiate.
