Lola “Louise” Malone, 89, of Salisbury passed away peacefully on April 11, 2014, surrounded by her family. She was born to the late William Harrison and Ida “Mildred” Elliott Hughes on October 21, 1924 and raised in Hebron, MD. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Malone and brothers, William and Robert Hughes. Louise cherished her family, was a friend to many; adored her kitties and playing the penny machine. Her family and friends were truly blessed to have her in their lives. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Grant of Hebron; grandchildren, Terry Eskridge, James Grant (Carol), David Grant, Vickie Steadman (Buck) and Dominique Bromley (Donald). She treasured her great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; her aunt, Gladys Layfield, nieces, Delores Rossy and Patricia Hughes and nephew, Bobby Hughes. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Louise’s memory to, Coastal Hospice, PO Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
