Catherine (Kay) Weiser Elliott, 75 of Salisbury, went on to be with our precious Lord on Monday, March 3, 2014. Born and raised in Shamokin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Leon L. Weiser and Gertrude M. Dangolovich Weiser. Kay has always been a hard working woman. She has been employed as a seamstress and pharmacy technician. She worked for K-Mart for over 20 years and Neighborcare for 6 years. She was also employed at the Transfer Station in Nanticoke for 5 years. Kay was a member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church for over 40 years. She loved the Lord dearly. She attended church and Sunday School regularly up until her health would no longer allow it. Her favorite past time was attending church and being in fellowship with her friends in Christ. Kay’s favorite place to visit was Hawaii. Fortunately she was able to visit there several times. It meant a lot to her since she had nieces and nephews there whom she loved very much. Kay is surived by her five children: Cherrie Puceta of Reading, PA, Lisa Puceta Gannon of Newark, DE, Tina Puceta Phillips of California, William “Bill” Forbes of Princess Anne, MD and Edgar “Ed’er” Elliott, Jr. of Princess Anne, MD; six grandchildren: Nicole, Michelle, William “Junior”, Crissy, William “Bill Bill” and Lisa; two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Landon; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Jerry Fellin of Florida; sister-in-law, Lilly Mae Ayres of Poc omoke City, MD; and many close friends, especially, Sister Ruth Chamberlin, Connie Bailey and Vic Pusey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Stockley Elliott, Sr. in 2008 and her siblings: Richard Weiser, Leonard Weiser and Rose Marie Weiser Fellin. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 11:00 am at Delmarva Evangelistic Church, 407 Gordy Road, Salisbury, MD 21804.
