William Robert Davis, 78, of Salisbury, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of the late William Davis and Rethel Moore Davis.
Bob was a US Army Korean War veteran and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He also attended Delmarva Evangelistic Church until his health failed. His last job was working for Lehigh Valley in inventory control until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Maxciene Esther Quinn Davis of Mechanicsburg, PA; 2 daughters, Kandi Davis Buckman and her husband, Preston of Mechanicsburg and Bobbi Jean Livingston and her husband, Joel of Abilene, TX; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Virginia Davis and Brenda Martin, both of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Daly and a brother, Richard Davis.
A graveside memorial service with military honors will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11:00 am at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury with Rev. Howard Travers officiating.
