Laura Jean Willing, 67, of Salisbury, died on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born on November 28, 1945 in Delaware, she was the daughter of the late Lee Irvin and Kathryn Jenkins Stevenson.
Laura Jean was a long time member of Parkway Church of God. She retired from Rite Aid after 18 years of service. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye and she enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother; George Stevenson and two sisters.
Mrs. Willing is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, James Willing of Salisbury; a son, James Willing, Jr. and his wife Tonya of Eden; four grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Kaitlyn and Jamie; seven great-grandchildren and a sister-in-law; Linda Stevenson and her children.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Shad Point Cemetery.
