Virginia Anne Townsend Timmons, 87, of Parsonsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Parsonsburg, she was the daughter of the late Claude Townsend and Martha Parsons Townsend. She worked as a poultry grower for many years for Esham and later Showell Poultry. She owned & operated a ceramic shop known as “Lil” Rebel and taught ceramics for over 45 years. She enjoyed her flower garden and her pets. She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah White & her husband, Allen, and Kathleen “Kathy” Schaufert, all of Parsonsburg; a granddaughter, Crystal Justice & her husband, Chris of Parsonsburg, and Wesley White & his wife, Jamie of Westover; 3 great grandchildren, Russell, Josey and Jayden; several nieces and nephews, including Ralph Timmons; close friends, Sis Potetz and Betty Marshall; and pet dog, “Maggie” and her pet cat, “Muffin”. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Elmore “Moe” Franklin Timmons in 2013. No formal services are scheduled at this time.
